Crafting a WXTCH Treasure:
A DIY Ecological Portal to Connect with Sacred Landscapes

A WXTCH treasure is a magickal and versatile object: a handcrafted hanging artwork made from the abundant gifts of nature; flowers, branches, feathers and other organic materials. They come in diverse shapes and sizes, can be worn and adorn your body, gifted back to the earth as an offering, placed upon your altar, used as a tool of divination or burnt at midnight while dancing naked beneath a full moon … basically, whatever your heart desires & is fitting for your personal intention!

In this workshop, we’ll focus on crafting WXTCH treasures that’ll help us honor, celebrate and strengthen our connection with personal sacred spaces, as well as the unseen spirits inhabiting these landscapes. Together, we’ll create portable works of art made from ecological ephemera, alongside guided meditation and visualisation to help us connect with the spaces. Through the act of sewing, we’ll sow our intentions, our devotions and desires to connect with spirits and the divine. We’ll weave into the treasure our inherent interconnection with these sacred landscapes, a connection which we can resummon and reactivate at any point in time.

Bring your creativity, enthusiasm, as well as any ideas of particular places or spirits you’d like to honour, and even organic matter you may wish to use. (Materials will be provided). You’ll leave with your own hand-crafted Treasure, plus the skills and knowledge to make endless Treasures in the future!
